In St Ives bay there are several pet friendly beaches nearby to our pet friendly holiday cottages giving access to beautiful walks you can enjoy safely with ALL your family members.
Hayle Beach
Three miles of golden sandy beach stretching from Hayle to Godrevy lighthouse. Hayle beach is covered by lifeguards (seasonal) and is ideal for swimming, surfing and dolphin watching.
Dogs are welcome on this beach except during July and August (10am – 6pm) when a seasonal dog ban is in place between Hayle River and Black Cliffs.
Carbis Bay Beach
One of Cornwall’s seven award-winning Blue Flag 2019 beaches, with safe bathing beach surrounded by subtropical splendour.
A dog ban is in place from May 15th to September 30th, 10am till 6pm (2020)
Lambeth Walk
Easily overlooked, despite being almost in the town centre of St Ives Lambeth Walk is dog friendly all year round with easy access from the Sloop carpark.
Dogs welcomed all year around.
Bamaluz Beach
The remains of Wheal Dream tin mine overlook this quiet, sandy beach. Situated between the Harbour and Porthgwidden beach, Blmaluz often goes unnoticed.
